WFRV – Veteran northeast Wisconsin broadcaster Mark Daniels recently paid a visit to the Local 5 studio to sit down with Kyle Malzhan on Sports Xtra and talk about his new book, A Life at Lambeau. Daniels, who retired after a 46-year career covering the Green Bay Packers and a variety of other sports for radio and television, offers an intimate, firsthand account of many of the most pivotal moments in franchise history. Spanning more than 400 pages, the book provides an in-depth look at the people, games, and stories Daniels witnessed throughout his extensive career, giving readers an inside view of the world he chronicled from the press box and sidelines to the newsroom.
A Life at Lambeau is available at multiple outlets, including the Green Bay Packers Pro Shop and Bosse’s News & Tobacco in De Pere, as well as through major retailers like Amazon and other retailers. Fans who want a deeper dive into Daniels’ reflections on decades of Packers lore can watch Kyle Malzhan’s full interview with Daniels, where he discusses his latest project in retirement, in the video above.
