Texas Rattlers Sweep the Scoreboards as the 2026 PBR Teams Season Begins

   ​Bulls and Beats Day 2 brought new matchups and new headlines. With some of PBR’s best riders entering the chutes, there was no lack of excitement at today’s event. The PBR Teams standings are now led by the Texas Rattlers, who are the only team to win both of their games so far.From the Bulls and Beats event specifically, which opened the 2026 PBR Teams season at Colorado State University on July 11-12, Lights Out was the top-performing bull, earning a bull score of 45.30 to start his season off strong. As a favorite bull throughout the PBR seasons, it’s no surprise that he was the best on the dirt this weekend.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementThe first game of the day had a bit of a rough start with the first four riders to leave the chutes were unable to make a qualified ride. However, that streak quickly changed when Rogério Venâncio completed an 87.55-point ride on Smooth Violation; his second ride of the event.In the end, Nashville was able to secure 2 qualified rides in Day 2, ending with 177.00 to earn them a point over Missouri Thunder, who ended the day with 87.25 composite points after one qualified ride.The Oklahoma Wildcatters secured their first 2026 wins by getting 3 qualified rides totaling 261.85 points. Although Marco Rizzo with the New York Mavericks has the highest scoring ride of the game, an 89.40-point go on Wild Card, the Mavericks only had 2 qualified rides, making their final total a 175.80.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementHowever, the Wildcatters were able to secure three rides, each scoring between 86 and 88 points, giving them a game win to start off the 2026 season strong.Game 3 was a clean sweep win for the Kansas City Outlaws, as the Carolina Cowboys were unable to secure any qualified rides on day 2. Sandro Batista started the game off strong with his first qualified ride of the 2026 Teams season, riding Husky for 85.30 points.Veteran Cassio Dias also got his first qualified ride of 2026 Teams with an 89.75-point ride on XIT Knock Out. The last Rattler to ride, Jean Carlos Teodoro sealed the deal with his 90.40-point go on Yosemite Sam to officially earn the Texas Rattlers their second 2026 game win.Florida Freedom fans were glad to see their champion back and better than ever after his short break from competition due to injury.
