Brown men’s basketball head coach Mike Martin is leaving the East Side after 13 seasons, to join the staff of Mike Boynton at the University of Michigan.Martin was named Brown’s head coach in 2012, at just 29 years old, and he departs his alma mater as the winningest coach in program history with 171 victories.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisement”Brown has changed my life,” Martin said in an afternoon press release. “The relationships we’ve built here — with our players, staff, alumni, and the broader community — are so meaningful to my family.
