Clemson Tigers Have Five Players Selected in 2026 MLB Draft

   ​The Clemson Tigers saw five of their players selected in the 2026 MLB Draft. Starting pitcher Aidan Knaak was the first Tiger off the board as the Milwaukee Brewers selected him in the fifth round of the draft.The Kansas City Royals drafted pitcher Justin LeGuernic in the sixth round, while catcher Jacob Jarrell went to the Atlanta Braves in the eighth round.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementAriston Veasey and Drew Titsworth were both selected in the 11th round by the Chicago Cubs and Philadelphia Phillies.Knaak played three seasons for Clemson and had ups and downs. In his freshman year, Knaak finished with a 3.35 ERA, 108 strikeouts, and a 1.152 WHIP. He followed it up in his sophomore campaign, finishing with a 4.18 ERA, 110 strikeouts, and a 1.107 WHIP.In his junior year in 2026, Knaak struggled, posting a 5.81 ERA with 88 strikeouts and a 1.64 WHIP. His numbers aren’t impressive, but he has the potential to develop into a quality arm.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementJarrell played four seasons for the Tigers and was a quality catcher for the program. In his four seasons, Jarrell slashed .260/.375/.519 with 44 home runs, 22 doubles, 133 RBIs, 123 runs, and an .895 OPS. He improved throughout his time at Clemson and will be a solid addition to the Braves’ farm system.Veasey spent his first two seasons at Alabama before playing the 2026 season at Clemson. He finished with a 3.29 ERA, 37 strikeouts, and a 1.134 WHIP. He will be an intriguing arm in the Cubs system.Titsworth was solid over his three years with the Tigers, posting a 4.34 ERA, 119 strikeouts, and a 1.327 WHIP.Clemson finished with a 31-26 record in the 2026 season with this talent on the roster.
