That led to a testy in-game interview with ESPN’s Dave McMenamin in which McMenamin asked him: “Do you feel the NBA line is an adjustment you’re going to go through your rookie year?””No,” Boozer answered stoically. “I don’t.””Is that something you were able to work on at Duke, and prepping for the draft?” McMenamin asked.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisement”Yeah. I mean, I shot 40% at Duke,” Boozer responded. “I don’t think it’s an adjustment.”Boozer then made his next two 3-point attempts.Cedric Coward, an NBA All-Rookie honoree last season, unequivocally has been one of the best players in summer league. Both have been out for the team’s first five games.Clayton played in last year’s summer league when he was with the Utah Jazz, while Lopez was the No. 21 pick in this year’s draft. He still hasn’t played because of a mild left hamstring strain from the pre-draft process. The Grizzlies’ other draft pick, BYU’s Richie Saunders, won’t play during summer league as he continues to recover from a torn ACL he suffered in February.Coward and Boozer played significant minutes against the Mavericks, and the Grizzlies could choose to rest them in their back-to-back.
