Here’s who will represent Auburn football at 2026 SEC Media Days

   ​AUBURN — Alex Golesh won’t be the only one returning to his old stomping grounds when Auburn football takes part in next week’s SEC Media Days.The program will send three player representatives — defensive back Champ Anthony, kicker Alex McPherson and South Florida quarterback transfer Byrum Brown — to Tampa, Florida, the league announced Tuesday, July 14.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementBrown, who quarterbacked Golesh’s South Florida offense the last three seasons, was one of the most-decorated players in the program’s history, transferring to Auburn after setting 15 program records, including becoming the first 3,000-yard passer in program history.A team captain last season, Anthony’s seen his past two seasons end short due to injury. McPherson, who was sidelined in 2024 with ongoing health issues, returned to form last fall.
