The White Sox made an extra sandwich pick at the end of the first round materialize out of thin air (well, actually it materialized at the cost of No. 15 pick overall in 2024 Jacob Gonzalez) and grabbed a local kid with ties to White Sox/baseball royalty with it, Landon Thome.
