A former top-three pick from Duke, Jayson Tatum recently reminisced on his time representing the Boston Celtics during the 2017 NBA Summer League. Tatum told the story to Duke head coach Jon Scheyer, as the two attended summer league action together.Although Tatum incorrectly remembered the amount of points (21) he scored, he got the important details right, as he recalled nailing a game-winner to take down the Philadelphia 76ers, who were led by No. 1 overall pick Markelle Fultz at the time.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementSpeaking on his first summer league game in Las Vegas, Tatum also got his numbers wrong but scored 27 points to hold off Kyle Kuzma (31 points) and Lonzo Ball (11 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists), who was taken one pick ahead of him at No. 2 overall. That said, Tatum has most certainly had the stronger career out of the three, as nine years later, both Fultz and Ball are without teams at the moment. This article originally appeared on Duke Wire: Jayson Tatum reminisces about his NBA Summer League experience
