That being said, the Broncos now have a too-crowded WR room that might need to be adjusted. More specifically, the Broncos might need to trade one of their WRs.Moe Moton of Bleacher Report linked the Broncos to a trade idea using beloved All-Pro WR Marvin Mims in a deal with the Atlanta Falcons. While sending Mims away would sting, such a move might actually make sense for Denver.”Atlanta Falcons: Trade a late 2027 pick for WR Marvin Mims Jr.,” Moton writes. “… Mims knows this year could be his last in Denver. Atlanta can speed up the process and acquire him to address a glaring roster need.”AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementThe Broncos don’t really have a clear need for Mims on the roster from a wide receiver standpoint. He is stuck behind four other options on the offense.Waddle and Courtland Sutton are the top two receivers, while Troy Franklins and Pat Bryant are good No. 3 and No. 4 options.Mims would provide the Broncos with value, especially as a returner with his All-Pro skillset, as he led the NFL in punt return yards in 2025 with 452, to go with a touchdown.
