Thompkins wasn’t quite 5’7” and didn’t even tip the scales at 170 pounds during his pre-draft testing.At that Jayhawks Pro Day, Skinner ran 4.52 with a 33-inch vertical jump, 10’2” broad jump, and, most impressively, a 6.94 time in the three-cone drill before going undrafted.At Kansas, he caught 80 passes for 1,584 yards with 11 touchdowns across four seasons. He averaged over 20 yards per catch in each of his final two collegiate seasons.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementSkinner spent his rookie season in the NFL on the Jets and caught one pass for 10 yards, which ironically came in the 2025 regular-season finale in Orchard Park against the Bills.
