​Jul. 14—WINNER, S.D. — Winner/Colome claimed a Sunshine League amateur baseball victory on Monday night, topping Platte 11-8 at Leahy Bowl.It was the Pheasants’ fifth win in the last six games, with Austin Richey driving in four runs for Winner/Colome, including a key three-run home run in the eighth inning to help seal the win. Richey and Drew DeMers each had three hits and Derek Graesser had two hits and three RBIs in the game, while Austin Calhoon finished with two hits.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementGraesser was the winning pitcher with 10 strikeouts in five innings of work, allowing four hits, one earned run and walking two.
