​BYU Basketball’s non-conference schedule is nearly done, and we got another piece to the puzzle Tuesday. UNLV Head Coach Josh Pastner said on Las Vegas radio said that UNLV will host BYU in an exhibition game Saturday, October 24 in the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas. BYU already has an exhibition game versus Nebraska Friday, October 16 in Provo. Exhibitions are preseason games and do not count against a team’s win totals — BYU played exhibitions last season at Nebraska and versus North Carolina in the Delta Center. The NCAA is allowing teams to play three exhibition games this season, up from two last year. One source told me earlier this offseason that BYU may elect to have its third exhibition as a closed-door scrimmage.Below is what we know about the non-conference schedule. BYU will play 18 Big 12 games and 14 non-conference games. For the 14 non-conference contests, I expect seven Q1/Q2 type games and seven “buy” games in Provo.
