​Dominic Rulli walked on to Penn State’s roster for the 2022 season. After spending three years as a walk-on, he was awarded a scholarship at the start of the 2025 season. Through four seasons at Penn State, Rulli has appeared in 42 games, largely on special teams. He is perhaps best known for calling the fake punt that sealed the 2024 Minnesota game and put Penn State in position to make its first trip to the College Football Playoff. Rulli also picked up a key block that allowed Luke Reynolds to easily convert the first down. In 2025, Rulli appeared in 13 games and started the Pinstripe Bowl at center.Penn State is breaking in three new starters on the offensive line. Rulli has a shot to compete for the starting center role, but Texas State transfer Brock Riker will be tough competition for the spot.
