​An attempted burglary at the home of Spain star Lamine Yamal was thwarted hours after he helped his country reach the World Cup final, according to reports.Yamal was part of the Spain team which beat France 2-0 in the semi-final in Dallas on Tuesday and Catalan news outlet La Vanguardia has reported that early on Wednesday morning two masked individuals tried to enter his property.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementLa Vanguardia reported the individuals were spotted perched on a wall of the property by private security guards. The individuals fled when challenged by the guards, who then notified local police.Yamal played a central role in the win over France, winning the first-half penalty which was converted by Mikel Oyarzabal. He also had a goal disallowed in the second half for offside.The Spanish federation (RFEF) has been contacted for comment.
