   ​Expectations are low for the Green Bay Packers this year, and some do not expect them to make the playoffs at all. After three straight wildcard playoff births, the trajectory may be trending downward for Jordan Love and the Packers, but the game isn’t played on paper. As we have been doing for a while, we look at three of the biggest questions for the Packers heading into NFL training camps.Green Bay must advance deep into the playoffs in 2026. They were one of last season’s most disappointing teams, finishing 9-8-1. It seems that no coach did less with more than head coach Matt LaFleur. The Pack had one of the top rosters heading into 2025 and had made the trade for Micah Parsons. Fans expected a Super Bowl run, and instead they lost a lead to the heated division rival Chicago Bears during the wild card round after being up 21-3 at halftime. Will the roster replenish itself and produce a team to get them over the hump? We shall see.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementIs the ship sinking in Green Bay? Mike Sherman never got them back to the playoffs after a 2003 loss to the Eagles. Mike McCarthy’s team blew the 2014 NFC Championship game and never recovered. Now, Matt LaFleur will attempt to be the driving force behind Green Bay after the collapse against the Bears, or his fate could be sealed. How many losses would it take for LaFleur to get the boot? We hope it doesn’t come to that.Will the Micah Parsons trade be seen as a success if he remains labeled as injury-prone? Green Bay was 9-3-1 when Parsons went down with an ACL injury in Week 15. Keep in mind they did not win again after that either. Parsons will not be ready for the first month of the season, so what will it take for Green Bay to stay in the hunt?
