Bruins announce a slew of front office changes, hire rival’s former GM

   ​The Bruins front office has undergone some significant changes heading into the 2026-27 season.On Tuesday morning, the team announced former Sabres general manager Kevyn Adams will be joining the Bruins as a senior advisor to Don Sweeney. Adams served as Buffalo’s GM from 2020 until last December, when he was fired after a 14-14-4 start.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementAssistant GM Evan Gold — who was in the mix for Vancouver’s general manager opening but didn’t land the job — will be leaving Boston’s front office on Aug. 1 “to pursue other opportunities in the National Hockey League,” per the Bruins. Gold had been with the team since 2015.In addition to those two major moves, Dennis Bonvie and Jeremy Rogalski have both been elevated to assistant GM roles.
