After three rounds of voting from fans like you, four area boys athletes are still alive in the 2026 Athlete of the Year Championship.Each of these athletes earned their way into the tournament by winning a Thibodaux Regional Health System Athlete of the Week Award in the regular season. From there, they placed in the top 16 vote-getters in the first round, in the top eight in the second round and were among the top four semifinalists.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementAlthough all four of the finalists are in order of their semifinal finishes, they have had their votes reset to zero to level the playing field. Voting is open now and runs until the end of the day Sunday. Unlike in past rounds, only the top vote-getter in this round will win.
