Where did CBS Sports rank Falcons’ offensive triplets ahead of 2026?

By now you have probably heard the same refrain a hundred times this offseason. If only the Atlanta Falcons could find their franchise quarterback they’d have an elite offense, and might even be a very dangerous playoff team.Until somebody steps up to take up Matt Ryan’s former mantle as the team’s established QB of the future, they will continue to find themselves butting their heads on a low ceiling despite having one of the NFL’s most-talented young rosters.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementThe story is told yet again in a new list from CBS Sports which ranks each team’s starting QB-RB-WR combo, which has the Falcons coming in at No. 16 – based almost entirely on the strength of Bijan Robinson and Drake London.”Atlanta moves up four spots despite replacing Michael Penix Jr. with Tagovailoa. Robinson’s explosive season, in which he ran for 1,478 yards and caught 79 passes for another 820 yards, while being named a First Team All-Pro, is likely carrying the day here. London is a stud, too, and he’s probably getting credit for his talent after an injury-riddled season a year ago. That makes sense, but there is plenty of skepticism for Tagovailoa under center and out of the cocoon of Mike McDaniel’s offense.”London has managed to put up some really impressive receiving numbers despite having to work with a series of failures at quarterback, while Robinson has grown into the most-exciting running back in the sport. Along with tight end Kyle Pitts, few teams can boast of having as much talent at the skill positions as the Falcons. They could still use more help at the wide receiver spots below London – but if either Zachariah Branch or Jahan Dotson can step up into that WR2 role it would help a great deal. The Falcons should probably be looking at the remaining free agents at this spot anyway, including Deebo Samuel, Tyreek Hill and Stefon Diggs.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementThis article originally appeared on Falcons Wire: Where did CBS Sports rank Falcons’ offensive triplets ahead of 2026?
