Team Coop or Team Spoon? Which team are you going with for the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game?

On Wednesday afternoon, honorary WNBA All-Star general managers Cynthia Cooper and Teresa Weatherspoon drafted their teams for the 2026 All-Star Game. The top-two fan vote getters—No. 1 Paige Bueckers of the Dallas Wings and No. 2 Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever—were assigned to the teams, with a coin flip putting Bueckers on Team Coop and and Clark on Team Spoon. Weatherspoon then received the first overall pick in the actual draft, and she did the obvious and picked the Las Vegas’ Aces A’ja Wilson. Cooper then chose the New York Liberty’s Breanna Stewart with her first pick.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementHere’s how the two teams shook out with all 10 starters:Paige Bueckers (Dallas Wings)Breanna Stewart (New York Liberty)Caitlin Clark (Indiana Fever)Olivia Miles (Minnesota Lynx)For the reserves, Cooper picked first, eagerly adding the Atlanta Dream’s Angel Reese. Team Coop or Team Spoon? And then, who’s going to be the MVP?I like the idea of Angel, back in Chicago, capturing MVP honors with a new All-Star Game rebounding record as she leads Team Coop to the win against Team Spoon and her former Chicago Sky head coach.
