​Brooklyn Nets guard Nolan Traore has not been able to play in any of the summer league for the Nets this summer as he’s rehabbing from getting a scope on his right knee. A knee scope is another term for knee arthroscopy, which is essentially minimally-invasive knee surgery that addresses issues while causing minimal trauma.Traore, 20, is coming off a rookie season in which he averaged 8.9 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game while shooting 38.0% from the field and 31.8% from behind the three-point line. Heading into next season, Traore is likely going to be in a competition with Mikel Brown Jr., the No. 6 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, and Ben Saraf, the No. 26 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, for minutes at the point guard spot.Nets head coach Jordi Fernandez has not been opposed to playing multiple point guards at the same time and that should mean that as long as Traore performs well in camp, he should be in line for a spot in the rotation.
