Hornets lottery pick posts monster double-double at NBA Summer League

   ​Despite winning the 2025 NBA Summer League tournament, the Charlotte Hornets came out flat this year, dropping three straight contests after beginning with a win against the Orlando Magic.The Hornets suffered a 110-91 defeat Wednesday to the Milwaukee Bucks, as two players were responsible for more than half of the team’s points. Those two were third-year forward Tidjane Salaun and recent No. 14 overall selection Hannes Steinbach. Salaun scored 21 points on 8-for-13 shooting with three rebounds, four steals and only one turnover. Steinbach had a monster performance, with 27 points, 15 rebounds, three assists and one steal.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementMilwaukee, on the other hand, was led by No. 13 overall pick Nate Ament, as No. 10 overall pick Brayden Burries did not play.
