​Brock Riker- who played at Brock High School in Brock, Texas- committed to Texas State as a member of the 2024 recruiting class. A three-star recruit, he joined GJ Kinne’s staff in San Marcos and played in three games during the 2024 season to retain his redshirt. In 2025, he became the team’s starter at center and earned second team freshman All-American honors. On December 28, 2025, he entered the transfer portal and opted to join Penn State on January 10. He will have three years of eligibility remaining.Riker is primed for a breakout season on Penn State’s offensive line and likely the favorite to start at center. We will see how smoothly he transitions from playing in the Sun Belt to playing in the Big Ten, but he was one of the team’s most important pickups on the line in the transfer portal.Only 51 days to go until Penn State’s season opener against Marshall!
