While we’re technically over halfway through the 2026 MLB season, the All-Star Break is generally considered “Halftime” for the MLB. Let’s take a quick run-through of the power rankings for all 30 teams in the league and see where they sit as we prepare for the “second half” of the season.MORE: Top 10 MLB outfielders at the All-Star break#30: Los Angeles Angels. Still in the cellar. The draft last week was probably the closest Halo fans will come to having anything to feel hopeful about this year.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisement#29: Kansas City Royals. The Royals finished the first half in a dead heat with the Angels, with identical 38-59 records. It wasn’t easy since they had to lose their last 5 games to get there. Maybe it was pretty easy.#28: Colorado Rockies. Twenty games below .500 and 22.5 games out of first place in the West. They could win every remaining game, and they would probably still finish about 3 games behind the Dodgers.#27: New York Mets. Just when you think it can’t get worse, the Mets manage to “Mets” things up even further. Three straight losses heading into the break were a fitting end to a horrendous first half.#26: San Francisco Giants. They’ve faded all the way to the bottom of the East. It’s probably time to start planning for next year, despite the AL Wild Card race being what it is. In case you didn’t know, the final wild-card spot is currently occupied by two teams that are under .500, and a team like Toronto is just 2.5 games out of the spot.#21: Baltimore Orioles. 7 wins in their last 10 games before the break have the O’s just 2 games back in the wild card. The team still has a ton of holes, and the prudent move would still be to sell at the deadline.#20: San Diego Padres. They still sit at .500 after winning 5 of their final 10 games before the break.
