The 154th Open Championship features six Georgia Bulldogs in the field. Georgia is always among the most well-represented college golf programs on the PGA Tour. The Open is being played at Royal Birkdale Golf Club in Southport, England, from July 16-19 and has a purse worth $17.75 million. Russell Henley finished tied for third with 10-under at the Masters this year. Henley enters The Open in good form and is the most recent Georgia golfer to get a PGA Tour win.
