NBA says no league action to result from Herro-Adebayo Vegas confrontation

   ​MIAMI – The NBA is moving on from Tyler Herro v. Bam Adebayo, with the league issuing a statement Thursday that there will be no disciplinary action regarding last week’s practice-court kerfuffle between former Heat guard Tyler Herro and Heat captain Bam Adebayo:“After discussing with the players involved and the NBPA, everyone would prefer to move on from this unfortunate circumstance, and no further action will be taken by the league.”AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementHerro and Adebayo got into a confrontation last Friday on a practice court set up at a Las Vegas resort, one utilized by teams participating at the Las Vegas NBA Summer League and also available to NBA players for workout sessions.Herro and Adebayo came together in the wake of social-media posts from Herro questioning Adebayo’s stature as a Heat leading man, in light of what Herro questioned in those posts as Adebayo’s offensive deficiencies.Adebayo has not commented on the incident when he reportedly struck Herro before the two were separated.In the wake of the incident, Herro told ESPN, “Honestly, I’m just trying to move past all of it. I’m focused on Milwaukee and building something special.
