​Wide receiver Duce Robinson came to Florida State with an opportunity to be the top guy in 2025. He ended up taking full advantage of his chance and became one of the better players at his position around the country.Robinson would go on to become just the 14th player in FSU history to reach the 1,000-yard mark as a receiver and the first since 2019. He also put himself ninth all-time in terms of receiving yards in one season at Florida State, and he earned a First-Team All-ACC nod as well.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementThe 6-foot-6, 230-pounder could’ve easily gone to the NFL. With his return, he’s undoubtedly one of the top players in the ACC. Rodd Baxley of the Fayetteville Observer certainly believes so, as he recently named Robinson as one of the players to watch in the conference in 2026.One of the top receivers in the nation, Robinson was ninth nationally with 1,081 receiving yards on 56 catches and hauled in six TDs. He had five games with 120 or more receiving yards, the second-most in the country.Robinson’s size and athleticism make him a matchup nightmare on a weekly basis. The attention he can draw will give guys like speedster Micahi Danzy more opportunities to make plays one-on-one, as well as some of the other talented receivers that FSU has. His skill set just opens up things, allowing more players to get involved, which will make the Seminoles’ offense more lethal with the running back room they have.It was a blessing for Florida State to get Robinson back.
