​Talk about putting your money where your mouth is. New Orleans Saints quarterback Tyler Shough organized group workouts for many of his wide receivers, tight ends, and running backs in San Diego — led by none other than Drew Brees. Shough covered travel and lodging to get his guys out to the West Coast for several days of throwing sessions with one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time directing them. That isn’t easy on the second year of a rookie contract valued at a fraction of what the NFL’s best passers make, but Shough is confident the results will justify it. Rookie draft picks Oscar Delp, Bryce Lance and Barion Brown were also in attendance, as were many other players who will be competing at training camp next month. This isn’t a complete or official list, but it does a lot to show just how many guys believe in what Shough is trying to build.
