[Doug Engle/Florida Times-Union]The subplot to the opener is that the last time the two teams played, on Feb. 27 at Swisher Gym, a brawl broke out in which enough JU players left the bench, triggering an automatic ejection, that the Dolphins finished the final 76 seconds of a 79-71 victory with four on the floor.ASUN player of the year Priscilla Williams, Comari Mitchell and Aniah Smith were suspended for the first ASUN Tournament game the following week, as was Dezuray McGill of UNF.The Dolphins (24-7, 13-5) went on to win the tournament for their first ASUN title since 2017.
