Ranking the quarterbacks in the NFC North division

By admin — In News — July 16, 2026

The NFC North is full of young, experienced quarterbacks who battled it out last year. This conference may have the best young talent of all the NFC divisions. With that being said, who is the best quarterback in the division? There are several reasons why Jared Goff is No. 1 on our list. First of all, he is the only QB on this list who has taken his team to the NFC Championship Game, and he runs one of the most prolific offenses in the NFL. Goff threw for over 4500 yards and 34 touchdowns last year, and if it wasn’t for Matthew Stafford, Goff may have been the league’s MVP. Goff right now is at the top of his game, and to be honest, he should be considered a top 10 quarterback.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementA few years ago, people questioned whether Jordan Love was the right man to replace future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers, and it appears he is. Last year, Love passed for over 3,300 yards and 23 touchdowns, with a 101.2 passer rating. The only thing missing is that he has yet to take his team to the NFC Championship Game or the Super Bowl. However, don’t be surprised if that happens in the future.Caleb Williams has made a huge leap from his rookie season until now. He led the Bears to the playoffs. He broke a franchise record, passing for almost 4,000 yards and 27 touchdowns, with a 90.1 passer rating. After all these years, the Bears have finally found their franchise quarterback. The problem, however, is that he is in a division loaded with great young quarterback talent. The Bears are going to have to tighten up on defense to help Williams this upcoming season, and that might be a tall task considering who they face.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementJJ McCarthy’s first season as the Vikings’ starting QB was a complete failure. Rather than give him another season, the Vikings decided to sign Kyler Murray, formerly of the Arizona Cardinals. Murray more than likely will take McCarthy’s place as the starter, but that doesn’t mean it’s over for McCarthy. Murray is injury-prone, and the former Michigan star still has a chance to turn things around. Maybe benching him will make him a better quarterback, if not for the Vikings, maybe for another team down the road. This article originally appeared on Touchdown Wire: Ranking the quarterbacks in the NFC North division
