Miami Marlins open 2027 season with 6-game homestand, earliest opening day

   ​The Miami Marlins’ 2027 schedule was released by MLB on Thursday. One of baseball’s hottest teams during the first half of the 2026 season, Marlins players and fans alike can see what’s in store for next year.The Marlins will launch the season with a six-game homestand. It’s their fifth consecutive year opening at home, hosting NL East rivals the New York Mets at loanDepot park on March 25 as part of the earliest opening day in history. MLB’s first game for 2027 will be March 24, though the matchup hasn’t been announced.
