In a recent appearance on the All NBA Podcast, ESPN basketball analyst Tim Legler ponders says Wilson reminds him of Kevin Durant and Kevin Garnett.”Can he turn into a combination of KD and KG,” Legler asked. “And here’s what I mean by that. For the Kevin Durant part, it’s your ability to run your offense through him on the perimeter from 30 feet. Give him the basketball, let him handle create, get into his own, put pressure on defenses, draw multiple defenders as a face-up offensive player. The KG part is, Kevin Garnett is the greatest 4 defender I’ve ever seen. His ability and his intensity, his communication skills, his want to defensively at that position, at 7 feet tall, was as good as anything I saw in person.
