Army volleyball will kick off the season on August 22 with a road match at Seton Hall, followed by a home contest against Marist on August 25. The Black Knights will host the Black Knight Invitational from August 28 to 30 and will participate in tournaments at Texas-Arlington on September 4-5 and at Hofstra on September 11-12. Army, which finished third in the Patriot League regular season in 2025, will host Navy on October 9 and then travel to Annapolis on October 17. Although Gillis Field House is the usual venue for Army home games, the Navy match could be moved to Christl Arena if needed.
Hofstra captured the Coastal Athletic Conference regular-season crown but fell to Campbell in the conference final. The Black Knights will face two teams at first-time meetings this season: Sam Houston State and Texas Arlington, both during the UTA tournament.
Alma Kovaci Lee has served as Army volleyball’s head coach since 2007. In 2025, Army faced Hofstra among non-conference opponents. In Patriot League play, Army swept Navy, Lafayette, Holy Cross, and Loyola, Maryland, while taking two of three against Lehigh (including the quarterfinal) and Colgate (including the semifinal); Army split with Bucknell and dropped all three meetings to American, including the final.
This year, Army graduates four seniors and returns one junior who earned All-Star honors (Juliette Myrick). The squad also brings back 10 sophomores and five of seven freshmen from last season, with Lee adding seven new freshmen to the program.
Ken McMillan reports that Army finished 19-9 in 2025, with an 11-5 record in the Patriot League, good for third place. The schedule opens with a set of non-conference dates before conference play intensifies later in September and into October.
August will feature a busy start. On Saturday, August 22, Army will travel to Seton Hall, a matchup that finished 6-21 overall and 0-16 in the Big East last season. The Black Knight Invitational, spread across Friday, August 28 through Sunday, August 30, will feature three matches at West Point: Friday, August 28, Army will face Iowa (15-17, 6-14 Big Ten) at 6 p.m.; Saturday, August 29, the Knights will take on Sacred Heart (11-19, 8-10 Metro Atlantic) at noon; and Sunday, August 30, they will battle Albany (14-12, 6-4 America East) at 2 p.m.

The September 11-12 Hofstra tournament will feature Liberty (20-10, 8-8 Conference USA) at noon and Fairfield (25-6, 17-1 Metro Atlantic) at 7 p.m. on Friday, followed by a 5 p.m. start at Hofstra on Saturday against Hofstra (22-4, 13-3 Coastal Athletic) at 5 p.m.
The schedule also includes key September and October conference rivalry tests. On Friday, September 18, Army will host Loyola, Maryland (7-18, 5-11 Patriot) at 7 p.m., followed by a Saturday, September 19 matchup with American (24-5, 15-1 Patriot) at 4 p.m. Friday, September 25 will feature a bout with Colgate (18-10, 13-3 Patriot) at home, while Sunday, September 27 will see a trip to Holy Cross (9-23, 3-13 Patriot) for a 2 p.m. start. October will bring a pair of Patriot League road tests and home matches: Friday, October 2 at Bucknell (12-14, 9-7 Patriot) at 6 p.m.; Saturday, October 3 against Lafayette (4-22, 2-14 Patriot) at 6 p.m.; Friday, October 9 will host Navy (13-14, 8-8 Patriot) at 7 p.m.; Saturday, October 10 will host Lehigh (12-14, 6-10 Patriot) at 7 p.m.; Friday, October 17 will be an away game at Navy at 4 p.m.; followed by other league matchups including American on Friday, October 23 at 6 p.m., and a visit to Loyola, Maryland on Saturday, October 24 at 4 p.m.
