Inter continues to build for the new season with more than just the First Team and Inter Women in action. Inter U23 and the Club’s Youth Sector have officially started their preparations for the upcoming campaign as well. Stefano Vecchi’s side are gearing up for their second Serie C season and assembled for pre-season at the KONAMI Football Centre in Milan on Monday, 13 July, in advance of their first competitive fixtures. The Nerazzurri have since left for a training camp in Livigno, where they will stay from 16 to 25 July. The squad for the Livigno camp includes Richi Abbonifomi, Mike Aidoo, Igor Amerighi, Leonardo Bovoc, Cristian Bredaci, Cristian Carrara, Filippo Cerpelletti, Andrea Donato, Anas El Mahboubi, Mirko Franchi, Leon Jakirovic, Iwo Krzysztof Kaczmarski, Matias Mancuso, Thomas Matarres, Limberto Peletti, Paolo Raimondi, Gabriele Re Cecconi, Edoardo Rocca, Francesco Stante, Alain Tahom, Matteo Venturini, Mattia Zanchetta, and Jan Zuberek.
Vecchi’s team will also play five pre-season friendlies as part of their preparations. The first match is against US Grosio on 22 July, followed by a meeting with Novara on 26 July. The squad then faces AlbinoLeffe on 2 August, Lecco on 5 August, and Pergolettese on 9 August. These fixtures are arranged ahead of their 2026/27 campaign, which will commence in the Coppa Italia Serie C first round during the weekend of 15–16 August.
A clear timetable for the club’s pre-season activities is as follows: the gathering at the KONAMI Football Centre on Monday, 13 July; pre-season training camp in Livigno from Thursday, 16 July to Saturday, 25 July; the Inter U23 vs. US Grosio clash on Wednesday, 22 July at 17:00 CEST at CS Aquagranda in Livigno; the match against Novara on Sunday, 26 July at 17:30 CEST in Borgomanero; AlbinoLeffe vs. Inter U23 on Sunday, 2 August at 17:30 CEST in Zanica; Lecco vs. Inter U23 on Wednesday, 5 August at 18:00 CEST in Lecco; and Pergolettese vs. Inter on Sunday, 9 August at 18:00 CEST in Crema. The schedule also includes the Coppa Italia Serie C first knockout round on 15–16 August, followed by the Serie C matchday one on 22–23 August.
This expanded pre-season program underscores Inter’s comprehensive approach to preparing multiple squads for the challenges of the upcoming season, reinforcing the club’s commitment to developing young players within the Youth Sector while ensuring that the U23 team is competitive and well-conditioned for the rigours of Serie C and the early rounds of domestic cup fixtures. The club’s emphasis on methodical training camps, strategic friendlies, and a structured calendar reflects a broader vision to nurture talent and deliver strong performances across all levels of Inter’s competitive structure in the 2026/27 season.
