Being that the donation was so random and was such a surprise, it’s easy to assume that there might be an ulterior motive to the donation. As the Browns continue to build out their new state-of-the-art facility in Brookpark, it’s easy to connect the dots that there will likely be a few Cleveland Clinic signs and logos hanging from the building. Furthermore, this donation is even more interesting, given that the primary care provider of the Cleveland Browns is University Hospitals.Something is definitely up with this large sum of money. It does not mean that there is a negative connotation behind the donation; it just is a signal that there is something going on behind the scenes with the Haslams.Since buying the Browns, the Haslams have bought nearly everything that money could possibly buy in Cleveland except for winning seasons.
