Former Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill shed some light on his recovery from a gruesome knee injury that prematurely ended his 2025 season.Hill posted a five-minute video to his YouTube channel showcasing a lengthy workout highlighting his rehabilitation from his injury. The 32-year-old noted the workout occurred “about 10 months after doing two surgeries” but he is still trying to build back strength in his injured left leg.”I have no power in my left leg, so I’m trying to regain all the power back in my left leg,” Hill detailed in the video.Hill also explained he was taking his recovery “one day at a time” but indicated he was pleased with the progress he has made thus far after initially being told he “may not be able to walk again.”Hill’s injury occurred during the Dolphins’ Week 4 “Monday Night Football” game against the New York Jets. Hill was tackled after making a catch near the sideline and was awkwardly twisted to the ground. As Hill laid on the sideline at the end of the play, his left knee appeared to be facing the wrong direction. He quickly received medical attention from both Dolphins and Jets staffers before having his leg placed into a stabilizer and being carted off the field.Hill had surgery to repair the injury – which included a dislocated knee and multiple ligament tears – the following day. The procedure marked the beginning of what many believed would be a long recovery process for the veteran. The rebuilding Dolphins released Hill following the 2025 season in a move that created $22.8 million in cap space. He has remained unsigned since his release, but the five-time All-Pro first teamer remains hopeful he will eventually be able to find a landing spot as he continues his rehab.”Just trying to get my explosion and my breath back,” Hill said during one of the running drills featured in his workout video. “So, whenever I step back on the field, it’s like none of it’s missing.”Hill does not have a timeline for his potential return to the NFL. However, he expressed confidence he would soon be able to start running more vigorously.”Give me another month and a half. I’m going go into the track and sprint like that,” Hill said. “Feel good.”This article originally appeared on USA TODAY: Tyreek Hill injury update: Star WR has ‘no power’ in injured left leg
