​CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — After playing his first season of college hoops at Culver-Stockton in Missouri, Central grad Aidyn Beck is taking his talents back to Champaign.He announced his decision to transfer to Parkland on social media.Beck said he was following along as the Cobras made a run to their first NJCAA Tournament title since 1981.He’s looking to help first-year head coach Jimmie Daly maintain the team culture that helped Parkland make back-to-back NJCAA national championship games.“When you have guys that can buy into one program, and all want the same collective goal, you can be really dangerous, and that’s what I think Parkland had last year was they all wanted to win the national championship, and that’s exactly what they got done,” Aidyn said.“Aidyn’s a great culture guy; he’s a guy who’s going to fit in pretty much on any team just because he’s a good fit when it comes to people’s culture, so he’s going to be a great teammate,” Aidyn’s dad, Delandis Beck said. “He’s a pass-first type of guard, so he’s going to be looking to get his teammates involved.”Copyright 2026 Nexstar Media, Inc.
