CBS Sports released a list of top offensive triplets heading into the 2026 NFL season. The least is composed of a quarterback, running back and wide receiver pairing. The New England Patriots placed ninth among all 32 teams on the list with quarterback Drake Maye, running back Rhamondre Stevenson and wide receiver A.J. Brown. Maye recorded 4,394 yards, 31 touchdowns, and eight interceptions last season. It was a breakout year for the former North Carolina standout, who finished second behind Matthew Stafford in MVP voting for the season. Stevenson recorded 103 carries for 603 yards and seven touchdowns. He averaged 4.6 yards per carry, which was his highest mark since 2022.Brown, the newest addition to the Patriots’ offense, is widely recognized as one of the best 50-50 ball receivers in the league. H tallied 70 catches for 1,003 yards and seven touchdowns in his final season with the Philadelphia Eagles. CBS’ Jared Dubin wrote:”The single-biggest riser among voters, the Pats rocketed up from 26th. Maye showcased a sparkling season in which he finished second in MVP voting and then led the Pats to a Super Bowl appearance. Stevenson was terrific down the stretch of the year. But even that likely wouldn’t have put the Pats in this spot had they not also swung a trade for Brown, who is one of the best receivers in football and, really, as The Dude says, really ties the room together. “The Patriots’ trio is certainly one of the more formidable ones in the NFL. Maye is a rising star at quarterback, while both Stevenson and Brown are veteran playmakers who have shown the ability to take over games. The Patriots are in good hands for the foreseeable future.
