He spent the majority of the offseason running as the second-team center while also seeing snaps at left guard with the 2s and 3s.In the meantime, free-agent addition Kayode Awosika has remained as the current starter at left guard. He played with the 1s on Wednesday before seeing less snaps on Thursday while Trevor Penning was given a look in front of Justin Herbert.At some point, if the Chargers truly want Slaughter to be in the fight for the starting LG job, they need to start giving him actual and consistent reps there.
