Klint Kubiak on scuffle between Maxx Crosby and Kirk Cousins: "That’s training camp"

It sounds like the end of Friday’s Raiders practice brought out a little fire between Kirk Cousins and Maxx Crosby.Per Sam Warren of TheAthletic.com, Crosby tipped a pass from Cousins in the backfield during team drills. Cousins got in Crosby’s face with one grabbing the other’s collar before a shouting match ensued.Warren notes Cousins then performed well in a two-minute situation, which was a rebound for the QB who had thrown two interceptions during the session.Afterward, head coach Kilnt Kubiak didn’t seem concerned about two of the team’s most critical players mixing it up.“Yeah, that’s training camp,” Kubiak said in his press conference. “Those are two leaders of our team going at it. So, that is part of camp. Obviously, you fight in a game, you throw a punch in the game, especially, then you’re out of the game. So, we’ve got to be smart, treat it like a game.”As Kubiak said, teammates getting into it is a part of camp, particularly once guys have been going against each other for over a week. But the Raiders need to make sure they channel that energy the right way as camp continues.
