​Instead of socializing and watching golf from amid the majestic pine trees of the Timuquana Country Club, fans at the 2026 Constellation Furyk & Friends can experience a different vibe: A beachside view at the Ocean Course at Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa.There’s even going to be a boardwalk.Among the fan amenities at the PGA Tour Champions event Oct. 9-11 will be The Boardwalk, presented by Integrative Wealth Management. It will be centrally located along the 18th fairway with views of the Ocean Course’s finishing hole and of the Atlantic Ocean.The Boardwalk will serve as the tournament’s primary fan destination and is open to all ticketholders. There will be premium viewing areas, local food and beverages, interactive activations and family-friendly experiences.The Baptist Health Family Lounge, the tournament’s only air-conditioned venue, will provide a comfortable space for families and nursing mothers.The Boardwalk also will have LED videoboards that now only will show live tournament coverage and real-time scoring updates, but enable fans to break away from the golf and catch up on their favorite college and NFL team. Games and viewing locations will be subject to broadcast availability and schedule changes.The venue also will be the site of the Furyk Foundation Concert on Oct. 9 at 7 p.m., featuring Billy Currington. The top 50 in points are playing, led by No. 1 Scottie Scheffler.The top 30 on the points list after the last putt falls on Aug. 23 will advance to the Tour Championship Aug. 27-30 at the East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta. One of the area residents, Ludvig Åberg of Nocatee, is 10th on the points list and has been projected as safe for the Tour Championship by the Tour’s numbers-crunchers.The rest have some work to do.
