   ​Detroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta missed his first training camp practice on Wednesday for undisclosed reasons.On Thursday afternoon, Lions head coach Dan Campbell revealed that LaPorta took a hit on the hip. It’s not considered a serious injury.”Sam, the other night, he got hit in the hip and it flared up a little bit, just a little aggravated. But, we feel good long-term about him. The fourth-year pro caught 40 passes for 489 yards and three scores in 2025.
