New York Giants’ Jaxson Dart sticking with his camp stache. For now

By admin — In News — August 21, 2026

Jaxson Dart is fully locked into his training camp mustache experiment, and the New York Giants quarterback is determined to stache the course until the final whistle of August. The young signal-caller confirmed he plans to keep the fuzzy companion through the end of camp before a much-needed clean-up ahead of Week 1.Jaxson Dart says his mustache will be gone after training camp 😂”I was like, let’s see, let’s see maybe a few years after college and see if I can grow it out better because I had a dye it in college. It’s not very good now” pic.twitter.com/XmTZpHf0qi— SNY Giants (@SNYGiants) August 20, 2026“Keep it to the end of camp, clean up, clean up before Week 1,” Dart said, making it clear this is no close shave situation just yet.Any thoughts of a permanent look were quickly brushed aside.“No, I’m still, I don’t think I really like it that much, but I said I was going to do it, so I’m just going to keep riding with it,” Dart said.Call it mustache loyalty, pure camp stubbornness, or simply a refusal to break a promise to his upper lip.The roots of this hairy adventure stretch back to his Ole Miss days, where Dart occasionally grew a stache but often needed a dye job just to make it presentable.“I did a little — I did it in college and stuff, but I didn’t do it last year, so I was like, let’s see, let’s see maybe a few years after college and see if I can grow it out better because I had to dye it in college. It’s not very good now, so,” he said. For now, the upper lip remains a temporary roster lock. Dart is treating the stache like any other camp drill: Grind through the growing pains, evaluate the results, and decide later if it earns a permanent spot.Until then, Giants fans will just have to brush it off and enjoy the fuzzy ride. This article originally appeared on Giants Wire: New York Giants’ Jaxson Dart sticking with his camp stache.
