With teams scoring more points in games, the extra point moving out to a 33-yard kick, and teams deciding to go for two more often to gain edges, never-before-seen final scores are still happening despite the NFL playing for more than 100 years. These unique scores are also called “Scorigami”.Many of the Scorigami we are seeing are for 40-plus point games that have high scoring from both teams, but we’ve also been seeing scores in the 30s that have never happened. It’s not just high scores that have never happened, though. A game has never finished in a 2-2 tie, for instance. The NFL didn’t allow two-point conversions until 1994, and we’ve never seen an 8-7 game. A game has never ended in a 9-9 tie, among other scores still out there. How may Scorigamis can we expect in 2026?Since 1992, there have been three or more Scoigamis in every season. The average since the start of the 2000 season is seven per year with the high of 14 in 2013 and a low of three in 2022 and 2009.Some potential Scorigami numbers to watch for in 20268-7: Someone scores a late touchdown and goes for the win, not the tie9-9: Two struggling offenses end in a 9-9 tie, or a 6-6 game at end of regulation ending this way18-8: Feels like it should be taken 25-18: A few ways to get to 18 then a score to win32-22: A team playing catch up gets to 22 and a team keeping them away gets to 3241-41: With 40-40 off the board, lets go one more42-25: A team up late pushes it to a three-possession game46-17: It’s the lowest number against the very common 1747-40: let’s score a ton of points50-0: The cleanest shutout number 50-3: It’s the lowest number against the very common 360-14: It’s the lowest number against the very common 14How each NFL Scorigami in 2025 happenedAfter seven Scorigamis in 2024, there were four NFL games to hit new finals in 2025, two including the high-scoring Buffalo Bills. here is how each of them got there in chronological order:Bills beat Ravens 41-40 in Week 1This game features two high-powered offenses at the height of their powers, but the Bills started going for two in the third quarter and missed on consecutive attempts. Halfway through the fourth quarter, they sat at 25 points, a rare number. A missed extra point by the Ravens put Baltimore at 40 — not an entirely uncommon number on its own — before the Bills’ final push. Buffalo made it 40-38 after two touchdowns and an extra point but failed to convert on the game-tying two-point conversion. They got the ball back and kicked a field goal as time expired to win 41-40. Cowboys and Packers tie 40-40 in Week 4There are several ti
