At least in public, Flagg has always been a quiet guy. When he came for his recruiting visit, we had no idea if he enjoyed it or not, because his face never changed. Did he like it? Was he disappointed? You couldn’t tell from looking. His face was a mask. Even during games, he seemed to be determined not to give anyone any clue about what he was feeling. The mask dropped a bit at the NBA Draft, but not for being taken with the #1 pick by the Dallas Mavericks: it was for his Duke roommate and teammate Kon Knueppel, who was taken with the #4 pick while Flagg was being interviewed. He was just delighted by that. So seeing some public reaction from Flagg is pretty unusual, but we got some when he and Roberson went to a WNBA game between the Dallas Wings and the Indiana Fever on Thursday. Whatever she said to him, it made Flagg roll his eyes before turning his head and giving her a baleful stare, which apparently cracked her up. Inevitably, this is going to become a meme.
