​The Angelo State football team is hosting Fort Hays State in Week 0 to kick off the regular season on Thursday at Le Grand Stadium.This is the first Week 0 home opener the Rams had since 2022 when they shut out Chadron State 35-0. This is the third season the ASU started the regular season against the Tigers and are currently tied at 1-1 after last season’s 28-7 win in Hays, Kansas. Thursday’s matchup is the first of six home games this season for the Rams, which is the first time since 2022 they have had more games at LeGrand Stadium than on the road.The Rams start the season as the fourth-ranked team in the Lone Star Conference and received four votes in the preseason AFCA coaches pool, while their Week 0 opponent Fort Hays received 12.The San Angelo Standard-Times is brining you live updates, scores and highlights from the game.
