‘Hit you in the soul’ – Kevin Durant gets real about ruthless exchanges with NBA fans online

He explained his mentality behind engaging with fans in such a direct and sometimes intense manner.As social media has grown, a lot of celebrities and superstars have moved away from operating their accounts themselves. This is an accusation which cannot be levelled at Kevin Durant.The NBA legend has been posting on X, formerly Twitter, for over a decade now. And he doesn’t limit himself to sharing his own thoughts, he regularly gets into arguments with fans too.While many celebs choose to take the high road, Durant is often one to hurl insults right back at those fans he deems to have been disrespectful. His talent and skillset are both unique. As incredibly as he moves on the court, however, he’s equally sharp with his wit off of it.KD has been known to tell fans they have failed at life and that he’s better than them in arguments on X, among other things. And he recently explained why he’s happy to continue engaging like this.“People know if they say something to me I’ll say something back. You’re going to leave this interaction feeling ****** up. Imma hit you in the soul,” Durant said in an interview.“‘I’m way better than you at life, I’ve accomplished what you want to do in life.’ All type of stuff. You don’t need to talk to me like that. You want to see this side of me.“Since I was 10 I been talking **** like this.
