It’s Bill Belichick round two,” Feldman said. “Can he get off the mat? Last year they got absolutely throttled by TCU; now they get a rematch. It’s kind of a must-win for Belichick.“I really think if you look at how the schedule is set up, and the way they played last year, and just the dynamics around the program, it’s been disarray and disappointment and really, to be honest, he’s been a laughing stock of college football.”Belichick’s predecessor, Mack Brown, finished his second stint in North Carolina with a 44-33 record and was fired after a 6-6 finish in the 2024 season.
