​An undisclosed Ukrainian club has received an offer from striker Roman Yaremchuk’s representatives to sign him this summer — per an update by TransferFeed. Reports from Ukraine claim that the 20-year-old striker wants a return to his country this summer, and is being quoted by an outfit from Kharkiv. Yaremchuk signed a new contract with agency ProStar, headed by Vadim Shably, and they are working to find the best possible solution for their client since he has fallen out of Olympiacos head coach Jose Luis Mendilibar’s plans. Yaremchuk faced the same fate as Mehdi Taremi, both of whom were left out by Mendilibar from the club’s European squad list last season. The Ukrainian international’s transfer could prove to be a big opportunity for new signing Armando Gonzalez from Chivas de Guadalajara to capitalise on. The Red and Whites have no further plans during this transfer window to add a new reinforcement in attack, and they have been searching for an exit for a few attackers after the end of the last campaign. Gonzalez will be able to directly benefit from Yaremchuk’s departure, as he will just have Ayoub El Kaabi in the ranks of a starter ahead of him.The Mexican forward is set for his Olympiacos debut against Asteras Tripolis tonight at the Theodoros Kolokotronis Stadium. He was left out of the squad list in Thrylos’ Super League Greece season opener versus Atromitos as he was yet to join a full training programme ahead of the game; however, he is fit and ready to play in Tripoli.Mendilibar began with a 4-2-3-1 formation against Atromitos, with El Kaabi leading the attack as the sole striker.
