Nottingham Forest sign Australian international midfielder McKennaNottingham Forest have completed the signing of Australian international midfielder Leticia McKenna on a permanent deal.WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Tricky Trees this morning.The 24-year-old joins Nottingham Forest from Australian Ninja A-League club Melbourne City. She has signed a two-year deal Trentside.McKenna started out with Perth Glory before going to enjoy spells with FW NTC, Brisbane Roar, Melbourne City, Blacktown Spartans and South Melbourne. She was a Ninja A-League Premiership and Championship winner with Melbourne City in 2025/2026.On the international stage, McKenna won the ASEAN Women’s Championship with Australia Under-23s last year. She was handed her first senior cap back in April.After bringing McKenna to Nottingham Forest, the club’s head coach Tom Mallinson said “Leticia is of an age where she can continue to improve and grow as a player, but she has also already achieved a lot in the game. That balance is always exciting for a coach and we are all looking forward to working with her.“She will give us something different in our midfield and has the quality to come into the group and make an immediate impact. We are delighted she is joining us.”Nottingham Forest completed the deal for McKenna ahead of last night’s transfer deadline.
