​The injury bug is hitting the Stanford football program at a tough time. Stanford beat Hawai’i 37-27 in Week 0, but will be without four projected starters on offense when the program faces Miami at home on Friday night. MORE: Is Saturday a must-win for Lane Kiffin and LSU?According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, left tackle Niki Prongos, guard Simione Pale, center Aidan Kilstrom, and wide receiver Nico Brown are all out with injuries. Edge rusher Gabe Kaminski is also set to miss the game.Brown had an electric 2025 season with Yale before transferring to Stanford in January. He finished last season with 71 receptions for 1,085 yards and 11 touchdowns.Kaminski finished last season with four total tackles and 1.5 sacks. For his career, he has 11 total tackles to go along with 1.5 sacks. Stanford will have to make do with what it has to try to upset Miami. Miami comes in as a heavy favorite, especially since the program is coming off a National Championship Game appearance and now has Darian Mensah at quarterback. Mensah helped Duke win the ACC title last year before transferring to Miami. He’ll now try to help Miami win the ACC title and get the program back to the College Football Playoff.
